We just received a remarkable test score and pre and post
assessments from a high school student at Camp Munz, a detention camp in California. His
pre-test score was 52 words per minute and his post-test score was 280 words
per minute. He went up 9 grade levels! When Reading & Rhythm facilitator, asked if he was trying on his pre-test, his response was he “hates
to read”.
In his post assessment, the student wrote he is very motivated to
read. This is a great example of a psychological barrier broken through!!
